We are committed to improving the oral health outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Preparing for your child's appointment

How to prepare

Please bring

  • Your Medicare Card, and/or Concession Card (CDBS)
  • Any comfort items for your child, such as their favourite toy, fidget item, device or their favoured communication tool.

Appointments

When you arrive at the dental clinic, visit the reception desk.

You will be asked a range of questions, including basic information about your child’s name, address and date of birth.

We will also ask if your child attends school, we will record the school name and year level.

Your child may be covered by the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), we will ask you if you consent to using your dental benefits at our clinic.

Our reception staff will speak to you about any costs for your child’s appointment. See costs for more information.
