This resource outlines the six of the best ways to maintain a healthy mouth for frail older people with complex oral health needs:

  • brush morning and night
  • high fluoride toothpaste on natural teeth
  • soft toothbrush on gums, tongue and teeth
  • antibacterial product after lunch
  • keep the mouth moist
  • cut down on sugar
